Monitoring and Crash Recovery Interface

This topic describes the various fields in the pane.


The options available in the Monitoring and Crash recovery settings pane help modify monitoring and crash recovery settings. 

Field

Description

Process Name Displays the selected model. When multiple models are selected, this field will not be displayed.

Enable Monitoring

Enable or disable monitoring of the published process. If you select the Enable Monitoring check box, Monitoring Level drop down list is enabled.
Note: The monitoring options set at this level override the monitoring options set during design time. However, for any monitoring option to work, it is required that you enable it first in the Process Engine tab of the Business Process Management Service properties. Monitor Level: Allows you to enable and disable monitoring of the published process.

  • Process status: Records the basic process information such as status, timestamp, and user information.
  • Process input and output messages: Records basic process information, input and output messages of the business process.
  • Process status, input, output messages and message-map: Records basic process information, input and output messages and message map of the business process.
  • Store complete process information when process aborts: Records basic process information always. Records input and output messages, and message map of a business process only if the process aborts.
  • Store complete process information when process aborts and basic information when the process completes: Records only basic process information unless process aborts. If process aborts, the complete information related to the input and output messages, and message map of a business process are recorded.
  • Store complete process information when one or more exceptions are handled for aborted activities: Records complete process information when exceptions are handled.

Enable Crash Recovery

Enable or disable crash recovery for the published process.
Note: The crash recovery options set at this level override the crash recovery options set during design time. However, for any crash recovery option to work, it is mandatory that you enable it first in the Process Engine tab of the Business Process Management Service properties.
